Kass Lawrence Named a 2026 ForzaDash MSPInfluencer Woman of the Channel
Kass Lawrence, Head of Community Development at Blumira, has been named a winner of the 2026 ForzaDash MSPInfluencer Women of the MSP Channel Awards.
The recognition honors her authentic approach to community building, commitment to MSP education, mentorship of women entering technology, and advocacy for safer, more welcoming industry events.
Lawrence began her career as a financial advisor before making a significant transition into technology. She joined Blumira as an account executive and moved through sales and account management roles, developing a detailed understanding of MSP businesses and their community needs.
That experience ultimately helped her create a dedicated community development role and expand Blumira’s presence within the MSP ecosystem.
Building Relationships Before Pitches
At industry events, Lawrence focuses on creating conversations rather than delivering scripted sales presentations. She spends time with MSP owners, operators, technicians, and channel leaders to understand their businesses, challenges, and goals.
She brings that feedback into Blumira and looks for opportunities to support partners through both the company’s security platform and direct collaboration.
One recent example is a complimentary lunch-and-learn program designed to educate MSP teams on security best practices. The program can also be delivered alongside partners to support education for their client portfolios.
Lawrence believes relationship building is not an optional addition to channel work. By connecting with partners as people and introducing peers who can help one another, she works to create a community that delivers value beyond individual transactions.
Advocating for a More Welcoming Channel
Lawrence also created the SAFE initiative to ensure people attending MSP events have someone to contact if they experience mistreatment or crossed boundaries.
The effort builds a network of advocates prepared to support attendees and address behavior that can make women and other participants feel isolated or unwelcome.
Her mentorship extends to women beginning technology careers, both inside Blumira and through GTIA. She also identifies colleagues who would benefit from greater industry-event exposure and leads by example in building genuine professional relationships.
Lawrence has been recognized among The Channel Company’s Top 100 Women of the Channel and was a finalist for a GTIA Women in Tech award.
The 2026 MSPInfluencer Women of the MSP Channel Award recognizes women whose leadership and community contributions create meaningful industry impact.
Lawrence’s recognition reflects her ability to combine honesty, empathy, partner education, and advocacy. Through every conversation, introduction, program, and event, she is helping build an MSP community that is more connected, supportive, and accountable.
